Radio Cardinal Communication Service, LLC, began operations in 2021 as a team of passionate communications enthusiasts based in Salem, Virginia. We are a group of Communications Technologies Universalists with more than 60 years of combined experience in custom Broadcast Radio and TV, Two-Way, and Microwave systems design, integration, and maintenance. Our staff handles all aspects related to these “traditional” communication platforms from computer terminal to the tower and antenna.
RCCS engineers employ the latest technologies where appropriate to give customers tailored solutions that fit the required form, function, and finance. We serve anyone in Central and Southwestern Virginia who uses Two-Way Radios, including public safety agencies, electric utility companies, school systems, construction and manufacturing companies, healthcare facilities, and many other industries.
RCCS delivers secure, state-of-the-art applications and integrated communication system solutions through our strategic manufacturer partnerships with companies like Icom America, Inc., a global leader in professional communication technology advancement. Our company also sees to critical communication infrastructure technical matters for Broadcast Radio and Television facilities in Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. We are registered in eVA and can offer Icom equipment to state agencies through a VITA state contract.
Icom America Inc. is a part of Icom Incorporated. Started in 1964 by Tokuzo Inoue in Osaka, Japan, Icom Inc. is a publicly held Japanese corporation; its stock is traded on the Tokyo and Osaka Stock Exchanges. Icom Inc.’s roots are in designing, engineering, and manufacturing highly advanced, compact solid-state radio equipment for use in the amateur (ham) radio industry.
